Congratulations to the Math Team for a stellar performance at the Conference Math Relay at State Fair! The team brought home 1st place in the conference. Toby Benn received 1st place senior, Owen Ives and Kyla Harms tied for 3rd place senior. Bailey Stoppel won 1st place sophomore and Adison Ives 3rd place freshman. The team brought home a lot of hardware getting 41 1st-5th place awards!

Encore placed 1st in their division at Webb City Show Choir Festival! This was their last competition for their year. Way to represent! #ccr1proud


A HUGE congratulations to the speech team for their fantastic performance at districts today!! All team members advanced to the finals round with the following results: Chase Stone-- 6th in Prose and 5th in Dramatic Interpretation; Jerra Allen-- 6th place in Original Oratory; Ashton Whitson--6th place in Humorous Interpretation and 3rd place in Duet Acting; Hailey Brown--3rd place in Poetry; Cora Oelrichs--3rd place in Duet Acting and 2nd place in Storytelling; and Toby Benn--2nd place in Radio and 2nd place in Informative Speaking. Cora will advance to the state tournament in Storytelling, and Toby will advance in both Radio and Informative. What a fabulous day to be a Talking Bluebird--- you all make us proud!!

Cole Camp Archery will be shooting in Jefferson City this evening! Let's go archers!


Mr. Cano's Cultures class has been studying Guatemala. They learned how Guatemalans celebrate the Day of the Dead(Dia de Los Muertos) with giant kites known as Barriletes Gigantes. It is an annual tradition that brings together families celebrating the dead and they pray softly for their safe journey back to Earth from the afterlife. What a fun lesson!

Shoutout to our Speech Team, the Talkin' Bluebirds, for putting on the Cole Camp speech tournament this past Saturday. These kids spent over 12 hours at the school cooking, running concessions, and making sure the tournament ran smoothly. We are so proud of our small but mighty crew! Districts is this upcoming Saturday. Wish us luck!
