As educators and teachers but especially as parents, we love to see our kids get awards and "win" something. However, what makes us even more proud is when they behave maturely and respectfully and we get to hear those compliments from complete strangers because we know, the kids are proving to us with their actions, that they are going to be successful people and "win" after HS when it really matters.
As sponsors on this trip, we received numerous compliments about how these are some of the "best kids and students". "They are so respectful." "This is the best group I've seen all day." "Your kids are so polite and respectful." I cannot say enough about the respect band and choir students displayed in many different situations
Thank you to the sponsors and donors who were able to make this experience for the kids happen. You should know the kids made the community proud and represented, their school, town and family perfectly on this trip. Cole Camp, we have a lot to be proud of but these kids are at the top of that list. Nashville must think the same since they obviously even lit up their capitol blue for us.
Parents, I know it takes a village, but you have done well raising this group and I was proud to be able to see them enjoy themselves, learn a little and prove once again - It's a great day to be a Bluebird!

Tonight is the final town hall in the JH Gym @ 6:30pm.
