Mr. Cano's Spanish classes and Mr. Mothersbaugh's 4th hour art class made and flew kites. They learned about Guatemala, and their culture. After learning about Guatemala’s giant kite that takes place every year. Then with the combined efforts of all the classes they were able to design, build and fly their own kites. It was a great experience for all, because some students had never flown a kite, much less make their own.

Textiles class has been busy learning different types of seams, and stitches while making their Jelly Roll Quilt Tops and aprons.
