Cole Camp Volleyball: Cole Camp traveled to Warrensburg Tuesday night to take part in their jamboree. Three sets were played with each team starting at 10 points to conserve time. This event was also a training ground for potential new referees. They played Warrensburg, Appleton City, and Warsaw. All three matches were competitive and the girls showed flashes of good defense and several blocks. As any team is early in the year, there are still things to work on. The season opener is Monday at St. Paul's Concordia and the first home game will be vs Holden on Tuesday. Come enjoy a game prior to the Cole Camp Fair! credit to Arthur Keuper for writing this article for us.

Please take some time to look at the many sponsors in the book. Without their support and general donations from community members this fair would not exist. We are still missing many student health forms. This form should have come home with beginning of school paperwork on green paper. Please get this turned in as soon as possible. We are unable to treat students if we do not have a current health form on file. If you did not receive this form, please call the school office or tell your student to ask for another form.

Mr. Mothersbaugh's 4th hour Art 1 course learned about contour (outline) drawing and we all practiced drawing fruit or vegetables on the tables. Each table rotated and we practiced heavy verses lighter pencil pressure to create "accent" marks. The students had fun getting up and moving around with the new challenges.

Cole Camp alum Henry Heimsoth hosted the 2 time State Champion golf team at Loch Lloyd Country Club 8/14. Assistant coach Luke Heisterberg and Cole Camp alum John Meisner also played. Matthew Bright and Tyler Howard leave Cole Camp as 4 time individual state qualifiers, 2 time state team champions, and a 4th place team. They will be missed. We look forward to what Spencer Godwin and Gage Oelrichs's have in store for their senior years.

Here is the map for our drop-off and pick-up procedures as we start school tomorrow morning. Remember to take the gravel road/52 highway to enter the drop-off/pick-up line and not off of Keeney Street. The gravel parking lot will be the ENTRANCE for the drop-off/pick-up line and we will only EXIT on the cafeteria black-top. Staff members will be out to help make this run as smoothly as possible. We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Welcome back student drivers! Reminder that there are no reserved parking spots at this time, so all student spaces are available for you tomorrow. We will begin reserving spaces with Seniors on Wed. A note - for student convenience and easier parking, the spaces directly across from the JH Gym have been turned slanted (see image below). Please keep this in mind when parking tomorrow morning and enter from the East. Have a great year and happy driving!

Our goal at CCHS is to create a positive learning environment that allows for a focus on academics. We also strive to teach our students habits of responsibility that they can carry on after they graduate. This year, we have expanded our policy to include all electronic devices (phones, earbuds, headphones, smartwatches, etc.). Please help support our students as they learn and grow this school year.
