A sneak peak at homecoming hallway decoration in progress. This year's theme is Cole Camp got GAME. Can you guess what game they have?

Mrs. Koenke's class:
This week students did an excellent job reading with a partner. When they read together they discussed story elements to prepare for a group activity. During this activity, they worked in a small group to write either characters/setting, the beginning, middle, and end of the story they read to practice summarizing. When they finished, they did a gallery walk to see if the posters were complete or if more details were needed. I can’t wait to see them do this again.

Classes are hard at work preparing their decorations for the Homecoming Hallways! We can't wait to share their creativity

Food Service Spotlight: Rachel Bale
Rachel Bale has worked as a cook for almost 6 years. For three years, she has been the kitchen manager.
Rachel is the first smiling face you will see in the kitchen every morning. She prepares all the main entrees for breakfast and lunch. She was also a graduate of Cole Camp High School. Rachel was asked, what is the best thing about working at Cole Camp School. Rachel said "I enjoy seeing all the kids, get to be around my daughter more, attend all her school activities, and enjoy all my co-workers."
