Welcome to Our 4th Grade Reading Class!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

My name is Mrs. Koenke, and I am blessed and excited to introduce myself as the 4th Grade Reading Teacher at Cole Camp Elementary. Being a part of the Bluebird family is a dream come true, and I am eager to start our 2024-2025 school year with all of you.

A little about me: I love God, my family, my job, and my students. I have a wonderfully supportive husband of 27 years. From 2005 to 2015, I had the privilege of homeschooling my four wonderful daughters: Karlie (25), Samantha (23), Sierra (20), and Grace (17). Afterward, I served as a paraprofessional for 1.5 years, which deepened my passion for education. I then took a teaching position in the special education department at Skyline Elementary in Sedalia, MO, where I worked from December 2016 to 2020. Now, I am incredibly happy to continue my teaching journey here at Cole Camp Elementary.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. In addition to my daughters, I am blessed with two amazing sons-in-law and a precious 3-year-old granddaughter. My experiences with my family have shaped my teaching philosophy, which centers on nurturing each child's unique abilities and fostering a love for learning.

As your children come back to school and enter my classroom, please know that I am here for them every step of the way. I am committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where they can thrive academically and personally. I look forward to a school year filled with growth, exploration, and, of course, the joy of reading.

Throughout the year, I will keep you informed about our curriculum, class activities, and any upcoming events or projects.
