A little ditty about me...
I grew up in Warsaw, Illinois. A small town river rat near the mighty Mississippi. After high school I went on to college to major in education and play both basketball and volleyball. I received my degree in Elementary Education from Culver-Stockton College, and later my Master's in Education Administration from William Woods University. The majority of my years in education have been spent teaching 4th grade with a short stint as a Title I teacher and a K-12 Assistant Principal.
In my spare time I like to spend time attending church activites, being with my close friends & hanging out with my dogs. My other hobby is eating! :) I love to watch Kansas Jayhawk basketball, The Real Housewives, & Days of Our Lives.
One thing I love more than the Jayhawks is my family. My husband Rick is a retired teacher and coach, who now works for W-K. My oldest daughter, Rileigh, lives in Minnesota with her husband and my granddog Bosco. Her great grace and heart shines through as an activities director for a senior living center. My youngest daughter, Raeann, is a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and dog mom to my little granddog Willow. Her beautiful heart and need to serve others is put on display as an Aerospace Medical Technician. Being a mom is the most important thing to me, but this empty nest is offering me some challenges! I also like to spend time with my favorite mammals, my dogs Piper & Opal. I almost always have a new photo or story about them to share. When I am not doing all of that, my second job is as a lifestyle influencer for Farmasi.
